As a non-profit institution, Geneva understands the importance of providing value to students who are understandably cost-conscious. As a result, Geneva offers competitive tuition rates and our online bachelor's programs qualify for federal and state financial aid programs, military education benefits, and employer reimbursement programs. And, nearly 95% of our adult students receive some form of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, and loans.
We understand the importance of juggling family, work, and other commitments. That's why our fully online degree options make it possible to earn your degree without having to commute to an evening class after a busy day at the office or without having to spend weekends in class away from family.
We also know that one of the biggest questions you have is how the work you put in and the time you spent at a previous institution will affect your degree plan at Geneva. We accept up to 84 eligible* transfer credits toward your online bachelor's degree! We'll help you request the transcripts from U.S. colleges and universities that you've attended and then quickly conduct an evaluation of your transcripts and review the evaluation with you. Our academic advisor will work with you to develop a custom degree plan that takes into account your transfer credit, life commitments, and financial aid eligibility.
Geneva is an approved SARA institution in Pennsylvania. SARA (State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements) provides a voluntary, regional approach to state authorization of postsecondary distance education. States and institutions that choose to participate agree to operate under common standards and procedures, providing a more uniform and less costly regulatory environment for institutions and more focused oversight responsibilities for states. Geneva College's participation in SARA allows Geneva's programs to be available to students who are located in member states. At present, California is the only U.S. state to have not yet joined SARA.
Students who begin an online program while located in a state in which Geneva is authorized to offer online programs need to be aware that moving to a state or location in which Geneva is not authorized to offer the program may have negative consequences, such as the loss of eligibility for certain forms of financial aid and/or the ability to complete the academic program.
Please note that SARA membership does not include reciprocity for licensure or certification with other states.
